Nancy, like other women, fell under the spell of “Professor” Harold Hill. Only she didn’t live in River City. Nancy was a resident at Shannondell. And the attraction didn’t stem just from The Music Man lead character, but from the broader “call of the theater.” Performing in the musical’s chorus at the Shannondell Performing Arts Theater, Nancy was stagestruck. A first for her. But, a passion she’s fueled as a member of the Shannondell Actors’ Studio, a thriving resident thespian group. Today, in addition to rehearsing with her friends, Nancy is also helping to craft costumes, an enduring trait from her days in the fashion industry.
