Inspiring Pat
When your uncle was one of the instigators for Ground Hog Day, you learn to tell a good story. So, when Pat moved to Shannondell, not surprisingly, he was drawn to the Nonfiction Book Group. What he didn’t expect, however, was how many neighbors shared his interest. New friendships came as easy as turning pages. And today, as the group’s leader, Pat describes his role as “reining in a lively bunch” of armchair historians. You might call it fitting, then, that the group is reading The Last Stand detailing Custer’s obsessive Indian quest. In fact, Pat’s already circling the wagons, and scanning the horizon for the next intriguing story.
