Vivian jokingly calls herself a Shannondell “flounder.” She’s referring to being among the first, founding residents, and her attraction to the indoor pool. But ask Vivian what excites her most these days, and she’s quick to sing the praises of the resident chorale group The Shannondell Singers. As a member of not one, but three choirs, Vivian brought her soprano voice and love of singing to Shannondell. She wasn’t alone. What started as eight singers now numbers close to forty led by a professional conductor with several annual concerts. Vivian found the support, training and fellowship to continue a lifelong passion as a resident of Shannondell. Sweet harmony.
