b'T he Shannondell residents highlighted here all share one thing in common, they are relatively new to Shannondell with one moving in as recent as April of this year. When we decided to sit down with some ofour newest residents in the midst of thepandemic, we werent sure what we weregoing to hear. After all, at the time of theseinterviews, necessary protocols had shut down all face-to-face activities, events and classes that help to fuel the inspiring lifestyle thatShannondell is known for. In a nutshell, everyone was having to adjust. What we did hear, though, opened our eyes and warmed our hearts. In the process of this dialogue, several common themes surfaced. Comfort and safety are but two. Our guess is, at some point this year, youve reassessed your own comfort and safety. Our hope is that these excerpts help to convey what a special place Shannondell is, regardless of the times. We thank these residents for their candidcomments, kind words and for allowing usto publish their experiences.
