b'Thank Goodness . For SummerA s we begin putting together this issue of Inspirations, were unsure if any of these planned seasonal activities and events might have to be postponed due to the, then, currentguidelines for our social distancing and respective well-being. The question arose, Is itfair to set the expectation that the summer season will, indeed, go on as planned? As we pondered what might be and the implications for our standard bounty of things to do, learn and share at Shannondell, a colleague looked up from her phone, smiled and shared an email just received.Attachments revealed image after image of handwritten notes of inspiration and goodnessspontaneously penned by our servers (now deliverers) that morning for residents on the sides oftheir meal to-go bags. We looked at each other and smiled. The answer became crystal clearthanks to some of our youngest staff.Summer will come and together well adapt. Well hope for the best, take each day as it comes and have fun doing it. Hopefully, together in the pool, in the fitness centers and club rooms, the Theater, the gardens, and on our patios. But if not, wherever and however conditions safely allow. Just know another great season of activities, classes, groups, lectures, services, gallery openings, workshops, concerts, musicals and plays awaits. Thank goodness. See you soon!2'
