AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL: 
AN ARTISTS AMONG US SHOW

In a salute to our country’s 250th anniversary, 
resident artists focus their talents on works depicting 
travel across the U.S., including unusual modes of 
transportation such as by balloon, raft and rocket ship 
among others. Mediums include oil and acrylic, pencil, 
pen, pastel, sculpture, photography and stitchery.

ARTIST TAMARA HUTCHINSON   
July 31 – Sept. 3       
With an artist mother and a childhood passion for the outdoors,  
it was only a matter of time before Tamara joined her mom in  
art classes. Continuing her education at the Ridgewood Art Institute 
and the Philadelphia Academy of Fine Arts, she found her artistic voice 
working in oil focusing on landscapes, still life and portraits. In Tamara’s 
own words, “Painting for me is a way to express the joy and beauty of 
the world, using light and color to capture a moment in time.” Enjoy a 
preview of her work among the paintings hanging in the Ashcroft lobby.
