Broadway & Hollywood in Four Hands
May 21, 7:30 p.m.   
Broadway has historically been one of the important 
birthplaces of popular songs in America, and by the late 
‘20s, American songwriters started working in Hollywood 
as well. Pioneers in four-hands jazz piano, husband-and-
wife duo Stephanie Trick and Paolo Alderighi join us with 
dazzling arrangements from the stage and silver screen. 
Blending impeccable technique with mature musicality, the 
duo has recently performed in a variety of venues, including 
the London Jazz Festival and Jazzland in Vienna. 
Copeland String Quartet
May 28, 7:30 p.m.  
Violinists Eliezer Gutman and 
Lisa Vaupel, violist Elizabeth Jaffe 
and cellist Jennifer Jie Jin join us 
with compositions from around 
the globe. Beginning in Austria 
with works by Haydn, they travel 
on to Russia with Tchaikovsky’s 
most beloved Andante Cantabile 
movement from his String 
Quartet no.1. This is followed by 
Brazilian rhythm composed by 
H. Villa-Lobos leading to a little 
Klezmer music styled by American 
composer Lev Zhurbin.
